Well Nintendo just wrapped up their 2009 E3 press conference and I must say, it was very unimpressive. They continued their usual parade of casual games, touting sales figures, and testimonies of women who really enjoy the dsi and Wii. The most unusual announcement was when Nintendos President Iwata announced the vitality sensor, which is some sort of device that hooks on your finger to measure your vitals, Im thinking this is an approach to get into more nursing homes. Iwata really didn't announce how this device is going to be used, when its coming out, price point or anything, color me very unimpressed. The only high notes of the conference was the announcement of a 4 player Mario game, Super Mario Galaxy 2, a new Metroid Prime game made by Team Ninja, and well thats about it. So with all that said, Nintendo definitely failed to generate any excitement this year, heres looking to next year...
